Girl Scout Silver Awards

Isabella Swindell (left), Regan Mobley (center) and Joclynn Ramsey from Girl Scout Troop 43009 were awarded the Girl Scout Silver Award on June 2 for their planning and completing a renovation project at the Roaring Spring Community Library. Together, they each completed 50 hours of work including planning, contacting businesses, contacting contractors and renovating the room including installing a new ceiling, lighting, electrical outlets, and new flooring. This room is now able to be used by the library for meetings, support groups, the Girl Scouts and other activity groups.
