Claysburg Woman Dies in Crash

A Claysburg woman died of injuries suffered in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday afternoon, June 1.

According to police, Iva J. Hershberger, 66, of Claysburg, was pulling out from a stop sign on Point Road, onto Lincoln Highway in Napier Township, Bedford County, when she pulled out into the path of a car driven by Andy Carosella, 61, of Herminie. The impact of the crash pushed both cars into the opposite lane.
