Remembering Rodney Burket, Longtime Herald Employee

E. Rodney Burket of Martinsburg passed away on May 26, 2019. He had worked for 35 years in the Herald's back shop as a printer, while Dick Loose operated the Linotype.

Besides the job of running printing presses and other back-shop equipment (such as the binder and cutter), he helped with the newspaper layout on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and with unloading and loading newspapers on Wednesday afternoon.
