Metzkers to Celebrate 50 Years of Marriage on June 21

Jay and Debbie Metzker, of rural Martinsburg, will celebrate 50 years of marriage on Friday, June 21, 2019.

Jay, a retired dairy farmer, retired from his second career as a quality control inspector for Dairylea, now DFA milk cooperative. Jay currently works part-time with his son and grandson's at Second Chance Cattle Company of rural Williamsburg. Debbie retired from HealthSouth, where she was an occupational therapy assistant. Debbie works part-time at John's Way, a medical equipment outreach project of the Clover Creek Church of the Brethren.
