Ask the Williamsburgers

On Sunday, we celebrated Father’s Day. A lot of mothers get most of the credit about the memories they create with their children and sometimes, fathers get the shaft.

This week, I decided to ask residents of Williamsburg, “What is a fond memory you have of your father?”

Here is what a few had to say:

Barb Dulaney: Seeing my Dad on his way home from work. He would give my brother and I 50 cents a piece and we would go up town in Mercer, PA, to a place called the Diamond Restaurant where we would buy an order of mashed potatoes and gravy – always a special time!
