Ring Found After Fifty Years

Talk about ringing in the New Year. On Jan. 2, Jami Kurtz, Taylor Township, found a wedding ring that had been lost for half a century. The ring was returned to its owner, Shirley Clabaugh of Duncansville, and it fit perfectly. Mrs. Kurtz found the ring on a family-owned property in Clappertown. The property had belonged to John Gorsuch, the grandfather of Mrs. Clabaugh and Sondra Kurtz, Jamie’s mother-in-law.
