Elementary Teacher Furloughed At W-burg Schools

To be in compliance of Section 1124.2 of the Pennsylvania Public School Code of 1949, the Williamsburg Community School Board approved during last Tuesday evening’s regular meeting the elimination of one kindergarten classroom.

This resulted in the elimination of one position at the elementary school, and effective as of the end of 2018-19 school year, Jessica Reese is relieved of her duties.

In other business, Chelsey Rhodes’ letter of resignation as junior high girls’ basketball head coach was accepted along with the appointment of Angela Detwiler as her replacement.
