HELEN L. STATES

Helen L. States, 94, of Martinsburg, formerly of Woodbury, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019, at Homewood at Martinsburg.

A funeral was held on Monday, June 24, at the Weaver Funeral Home LLC, www.weaversfh.com, Woodbury. Pastor Stewart McClelland officiated.

Interment was in Dry Hill Cemetery, Woodbury.

Helen was born on May 10, 1925, in Altoona, daughter of the late John and Catherine (Murray) Stehle.

She was united in marriage to John D. “Jack” States Sr. on March 21, 1945, in Altoona. He preceded her in death on March 27, 2004.
