'Little Miss' Pageant Returns to Life at Memorial Park

The Little Miss Morrisons Cove Pageant came to life once again on Monday, July 1, at Memorial Park in Martinsburg.

The gymnasium at the park held more than 250 people who came to view their loved ones, friends and family.

There were 31 girls who entered the pageant, which had not been held for some time. With the numbers that high, it shows the enthusiasm the community has for this event.

Three classes existed – Tiny Miss, Junior Miss and Miss. The categories were from preschool to fifth grade.

Ashlyn Harr was named Tiny Miss Spring Cove. Candice Heuston was named runner-up.
