There are people in Taylor Township who say they want to save money and decrease their “carbon footprint,” but they say the township is making it difficult. The supervisors are hoping to compromise by keeping the township’s July 2008 windmill ordinance but reducing requirement for property owners. The board plans to schedule and advertise a public work session to talk more with the property owners. For two consecutive township meetings, the public has attended to voice objections about the permit fee which can be as high as $750.
