Takin' It to the Streets in Hollidaysburg

Mike Zerbee, guitarist and vocalist for "Hot Wax," takes his music to the streets searching for shade and encouraging the crowd to dance.

Downtown Hollidaysburg came alive after hours last Thursday, July 18, to the sounds of classic rock as the Downtown Live Concert Series continued on the Diamond. Folks lined Allegheny and North Montgomery streets to dance and sing along with "Hot Wax Classic Rock," a central Pennsylvania-based rock band.

With temperatures soaring into the 90s, guitarist Mike Zerbee went wireless so he could take his guitar and vocals to the street and into some shade. He thanked "Whoever built that building," referring to the former Wierman's furniture store building at the corner of North Montgomery and Al...
