Fighting For Her Life

A Martinsburg mother of four is fighting for her life this week.
Mrs. Edith LaRue Teeter, 29, has been a patient in Presbyterian University Hospital, Pittsburgh, since July 2, a victim of renal failure, a chronic kidney disease. Mrs. Teeter, wife of Terry Teeter, 210 Locust Street, has very little use of one kidney. The other kidney is completely useless.
Her survival, according to a sister, Mrs. Joseph Corrigan of Martinsburg, depends on an artificial kidney. The machine is an important one, and though life is “priceless,” an expensive one as well. Mr. Teeter...
