69th Show to Open July 29
The Brumbaugh children of Curryview Farm (Martinsburg RR) – Heather (left), Faith and Thad – will be among the exhibitors at the 69th annual Morrisons Cove Dairy Show, which opens Monday, July 29, at Morrisons Cove Memorial Park in Martinsburg. Heather, 13, will enter the eighth grade at Spring Cove Middle School, Roaring Spring. Faith, 15, will enter her sophomore year at Central High School, Martinsburg. Thad, 11, will enter the sixth grade at Spring Cove Middle School They are the children of Keith and Melissa Brumbaugh.
The 69th annual Morrisons Cove Dairy Show will get underway Monday, July 29, and continue through Friday, Aug. 2, at Morrisons Cove Memorial Park, Martinsburg.
Tom Ritchey, show secretary, said there are 190 animals entered for this year's show.
The show committee encourages community members to enter exhibits in other departments (vegetables, farm crops, needlework, floral) until noon Monday, July 29. Baked goods can be entered until 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 30.
