The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation held a public meeting Wednesday, July 17, at the Roaring Spring Borough Building to introduce residents to the safety study being conducted of Route 36 from the intersection of Interstate 99 to Closson Road in Roaring Spring.
PennDOT is doing the study to develop both long-term and short-term solutions to congestion and safety concerns on the main route to the Cove. Residents packed the room to voice their concerns with living by and traveling the roadway everyday.
