The Mount Hosts Claysburg STEM Campers

Mount Aloysius College hosted the Claysburg Summer STEM & Arts Camp on its campus Monday, July 29. Students conducted science experiments, saw a drone tutorial and learned about video production.

Jacob Heuston (bottom), of Roaring Spring, Pa., works with Dr. Penny O'Conner, associate professor and chair of science and mathematics at Mount Aloysius, on a DNA experiment.

The Claysburg STEM project is coordinated by the Claysburg-Kimmel School District with parents of Claysburg-Kimmel providing support services. The Claysburg Education Foundation is funding this event.
