Fire Destroys Shop, Warehouse

Fire thought to have been touched off by an arsonist late Friday destroyed a large warehouse in Taylor Township filled with pulp and scrap paper for recycling. The blaze kept hundreds of fire-fighters busy for three days at the Smith Transport Inc. terminal on Closson Road, just south of Roaring Spring, and caused an estimated $1.05 million in damage.
