Donna J. Hicks, 64, of rural Williamsburg, went home to be with the Lord Monday morning, Aug. 5, 2019, at her residence.
Friends will be from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral today, Thursday, Aug. 8, at the John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., http://www.bolgerfuneralhome.com, Williamsburg. Pastor Joseph Weber will officiate.
Interment will be held at Royer Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
Donna was born Nov. 19, 1954, in rural Williamsburg, daughter of the late Walter E. and Elizabeth Pearl (Gorman) Stacey.
She married Ray N. Hicks June 12, 1976, in Williamsburg.
Surviving are her beloved husband of 43 years; a daughter, Amanda L. Luzier (husband, Justin) of rural Williamsburg; a sister, Dorcas M. Biddle; and a sister-in-law, Susan Stacey both of Altoona.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel E. Stacey.
Donna was a 1973 graduate of Williamsburg High School and attended the Williamsburg Independent Bible Baptist Church.
She was employed as a seamstress for many years at Alterations Limited, Hollidaysburg, and previously worked at Quality Manufacturing in Martinsburg for 13 years.
Donna loved spending time with her family, especially going out to dinner and was an excellent seamstress, who made many homemade crafts for family and friends.
She also enjoyed watching the birds outside their home, doing word search puzzles and playing games on her computer.
