Farmers Market, Concert Today In Hollidaysburg

August 15, 2019

Nikalettee Donnely (left), 2, and Genevieve Mathias, 3, both of Hollidaysburg, work on a chalk drawing on Allegheny Street in Hollidaysburg late Friday afternoon, Aug. 2, during Hollidaysburg's Downtown Live Concert as the band Bone Jacked performed on the Diamond. A farmers market will coincide with a live concert today, Aug. 15, at Hollidaysburg.

Each Tuesday, Downtown Hollidaysburg features a farmers market from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. Though the market is an attractive event, many working people just cannot get there.

Katrina Pope, Hollidaysburg Borough director of community relations and events, heard about the conflict and has a solution.

Today, Thursday, Aug. 15, at the Downtown Live concert, Hollidaysburg's first-ever nighttime farmers market will be set up across from the concert stage. Stephanie and the Wild Hearts will play from 6 until 9 p.m.
