New Hospital Wing Started

Construction has begun on the addition to the Nason Hospital.

Contracts were signed last week with the low bidders after their bids had been approved by the State Department of Public Welfare.

The general construction will be done by Cove Structural Systems, Inc., of Martinsburg. Cove Structural began excavating work at the hospital Friday.

Richard Nicodemus, president of Cove Structural, and the other low bidders signed contracts listing their bid figures, but with the agreement that certain adjustments would be negotiated later to reduce the overall cost of the new...
