JOAN K. LEAR

Joan K. Lear, 72, of rural Williamsburg, went home to be with her Lord Thursday afternoon, Aug. 29, 2019, at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, following a brief illness.

A funeral was held Tuesday, Sept. 3, at Grace Pointe Community Church of God, Williamsburg. Pastor James D. Spivey officiated.

Private interment was held at New Canoe Creek Cemetery, rural Hollidaysburg.

Joan was born March 18, 1947, in rural Williamsburg, daughter of the late John D. and Verna R. (Reigh) Kipe.

She married John S. Lear Dec. 11, 1965, at the Cove Forge United Methodist Church, Williamsburg.
