Pa. Convenes 'Dairy Future Commission'

The Pennsylvania Department of Agriculture (PDA) held the inaugural meeting of the Pennsylvania Dairy Future Commission on Sept. 3.

The commission, the result of Act 66, signed by Gov. Tom Wolf in July and prime sponsored by state Sen. Jake Corman, is responsible for reviewing the status of Pennsylvania’s dairy industry and making recommendations to support its future.

Local state Sen. Judy Ward (R-30th District) is on the commission.
