Park Pavilion Project

A new pavilion is in the final phase of a project that started three years ago.

The pavilion was built at Riverside Park in Williamsburg at the end of July by B & W Construction. The borough received approximately $30,000 in a grant from the United Way of Blair County to be used at the park for recreational purposes.

In addition to the pavilion, the grant money was used to purchase picnic tables, a new roof for the old pavilion and new toilets and sinks for the restroom. Also, the kitchen pavilion was updated with an industrial sink, hot water heater, refrigerator,...
