Williamsburg Absenteeism Program Earns Praise

State Rep. Jim Gregory (R-80th) toured the Williamsburg High School and district on Sept. 13 to discuss Williamsburg's initiative to combat absenteeism in the district.

Rep. Gregory said of the visit, "Williamsburg administrators get the big picture when it comes to workforce in Pennsylvania. By focusing on absenteeism and truancy, we are bringing future employees back into the pool of prospects. Principal Jones and Superintendent Murgas are leaving nothing to chance to encourage these students that they can have a good job but need to develop a habit of going to school on time and earn th...
