Hollidaysburg Man Jailed on Sexual Assault Charges

September 26, 2019

A Hollidaysburg man is behind bars after police said he sexually abused a now 13-year-old boy for approximately three years.

According to charges filed by Blair Township police, Brandyn Koll, 20, began abusing the boy in 2014 and continued until earlier this year when the boy’s mother found “disturbing” messages and pornographic material on her son’s cellphone allegedly sent by Koll.

According to police, the mother brought her son to the police station in late May after viewing the boy’s phone and finding messages that referenced sexual acts between Koll and her son, and when asked, her son told her the sexual acts had been going on for about three years.

When police searched the phone, they allegedly found 44 images and numerous messages sent by Koll that were pornographic and sexual in nature.

Police said the images sent were of females with exposed body parts as well as males and females engaged in sexual acts. Police said some of the messages referenced previous sexual encounters between Koll and the victim.

When police interviewed the victim, he told them that he was sexually assaulted by Koll when they both would sleep over at a residence in Hollidaysburg. The victim told police the assaults occurred inside the residence and one time in a camper that was parked outside the residence.

According to police. the victim said it started when Koll would ask the victim to go into his bedroom, and once inside, Koll would touch him inappropriately.

The victim told police that he would be made to sit on Koll’s lap and that Koll would touch him in places he did not want to be touched.

The victim told police that he was scared to tell anyone of the assaults because Koll threatened to punch him, and that Koll had hit him in the past.

The victim told police that Koll would touch him, and that Koll would make the victim touch him in the same parts Koll had touched on the victim.

During questioning, the victim gave police several details of the alleged assaults and when they occurred.

Police said that in March 2015, Koll grabbed the victim by the hair and forced the victim to perform oral sex on him, and that Koll performed oral sex on the victim sometime after the victim’s 13th birthday.

Police said the victim told them that Koll assaulted him when he was in the fourth grade, and when he was 12 years old Koll assaulted him in the camper.

Police said the victim informed them that Koll assaulted him “a couple of times” between September 2018 and March 2019.

The victim also told police that Koll would send him nude pictures of women and ask the victim to send nudes back to him. Koll also allegedly offered to pay the victim for a sexual favor.

Koll faces felony counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a person less than 16 years of age, forcible compulsion, unlawful contact with a minor, indecent assault of a person less than 13 years of age and 44 counts of disseminating explicit material to a minor.

He was arraigned by Magisterial District Judge Paula Aigner, Hollidaysburg and jailed on $200,000 cash bail.
