C-K Holds Off Glendale

Two first-quarter touchdowns proved to be enough as Claysburg-Kimmel edged Glendale, 12-7, in an Inter-County Conference battle Sept. 20.

The Bulldogs improved to 4-1, while the Vikings slipped to 3-2.

Joseph Noah, who led C-K with 34 rushing yards, scored on a 10-yard run just 55 seconds into the game.

Later in the opening quarter, Corey Chamberlain tossed a 31-yard scoring pass to Preston Bush. Bush finished with seven receptions for 94 receiving yards. Chamberlain was 13-for-24 passing for 180 yards.

Seth Dudurich’s 1-yard run in the second quarter pulled Glendale to within five.
