Martinsburg Mayor David M. Wareham has ordered a 9 p.m. curfew for all school age persons for the month of October. The curfew is intended to curb vandalism, which in previous years has occurred during the month of October and which already has been reported this year, according to the mayor. There will be several exceptions to the curfew. Oct. 30 and 31 will be trick-or-treat nights, and youngsters will be permitted out beyond the 9 o’clock hour on those nights.
