Ask the Williamsburgers

October 3, 2019

For so many of us losing a loved one – whether they be famous or not – is a hard road. I thought this week, I would ask the residents of Williamsburg: If you were given one hour to spend with a loved one, who would it be and why. Here is what a few had to say:

Bethany Stokes: Easy; my pap and my mother

Lisa Jones: My dad – Jonas (Toby) Corbin

Maureen England: My grandmother

Marvin Anderson: My mom, my dad and my sister

Cindy Hicks: So hard for me to choose just one – Jesus and my Mom.

Dotty Barrett: No doubt in my mind – my parents.

Deborah Ray: Without a doubt, my Dad.

Stacy Feathers: Definitely my big brother, Joe. He always had the right things to say without even trying and I would probably wish him and early Happy Birthday since him and my sister, Stephanie’s birthday is next month.

Lindsey Shultz: My grandmother. She passed away before I was two. I would love to know what she thinks about me and also I’d love to hear her voice.

Linda Foster: My mother

Melody Speck: My father

Travis McCall: Ronald Reagan

Nancy Becker: My husband, Jim, he was always there for me with an ear to listen and words of comfort along with hugs

Angie Barroner Webb: My sister, Wendi – I miss her.
