Time to Get Your Flu Shot

It's that time of year again, flu season is upon us. The first and best way to protect against the flu is to get vaccinated yearly.

Tim Harclerode, Conemaugh Nason Medical Center CEO, receives his flu shot from Jessica Messick, Conemaugh Nason Occupational Health CMA.

Anyone 6 months of age and older should be vaccinated unless their physician does not advise due to underlying conditions or interactions with the vaccine. The flu vaccine is targeted to prevent the most common flu viruses that researchers indicate.

So as we are seeing the seasons start to change, remember that the Flu season has started as well, and prevention is key. Get your flu vaccine.
