Black Knights Run Past WHS

Moshannon Valley ran for more than 360 yards and scored six touchdowns during its 44-24 victory over visiting Williamsburg on Sept. 27.

The win was the Black Knights’ second in six games this season. The Blue Pirates fell to 0-6.

Joe Bacher led the Moshannon Valley ground game with 168 yards and four touchdowns. Scott McCoy added 104 rushing yards and two scores.

Williamsburg got touchdown passes from Adam Uplinger (11 yards to Lambert Palmer) and Palmer (40 yards to Uplinger. and a 41-yard touchdown run by Ty Clark.

WHS will host Northern Bedford (3-3) Friday, Oct. 4.
