Two Flee Tuesday Morning Vehicle Crash on Dunnings Highway

Two people fled their overturned vehicle after crashing on Dunnings Highway near Benton Road in Freedom Township on Tuesday morning, Oct. 8.

According to witness reports, the vehicle was traveling north on Dunnings Highway when it attempted to pass the vehicle in front.

The car traveled into the oncoming lane and onto an embankment, causing it to flip on its roof and slide to a stop.

Witnesses who stopped told police that two people crawled out of the wreckage and fled on foot across Bedford Street toward the creek.
