Stiffler McGraw engineer John Clabaugh told Williamsburg Municipal Authority during the regular meeting on Tuesday, Oct. 1, of a new competitive grant that is available.
The small systems grant is for smaller municipalities with projects totaling between $30,000 and $500,000. Authority members agreed that they would like to apply for such a grant to start fixing and replacing water meters installed in the late 1990s which are starting to malfunction.
