Author to Read Stories at Area Libraries

Hollidaysburg author Tom Catalano is scheduled to read stories from his newest book, "The Edge of Imagination," at the following public libraries:

• Martinsburg Community Library, 6 p.m. Monday, Oct. 28

• Bedford County Library, 5 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29

• Roaring Spring Community Library, 5 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5

"The Edge of Imagination" is Catalano's 10th published book. It contains eleven original short stories of science fiction, mystery, drama and psychological suspense for adults and teens. Two of the stories in "The Edge of Imagination" have received national recognition in science fiction short story competitions.

Some of the stories in "The Edge of Imagination" involve a boy who can float, a ghost that falls in love, a homeless man's Christmas miracle, a sensory overload condition, a book that can predict the future and a man whose reality changes frequently.

Books will be available for purchase and signing.

Catalano's other published books include, "Tall Tales & Short Stories," "Poems For His Glory," "Rhyme & Reason," "Poetry 'N Motion," "Verse Things First," "I Dig Mud & Yellow Blood," "Jelly in My Belly," "Rhymes for Teens" and "Rhymes for Kids."

The Bellwood-Antis Public Library is located at 526 Main St., Bellwood. Martinsburg Community Library is located at 201 S. Walnut St., Martinsburg. Bedford County Library is located at 240 S. Wood St., Bedford. Roaring Spring Community Library is located at 320 E. Main St., Roaring Spring.
