Tomatoes Get Rejected

For the second time within a period of a little over a month, members of the Martinsburg Volunteer Fire company were given a useless run when Saturday mid-night they were called to the mountain above Salemville only to find an old chestnut tree on fire.

The burning tree was about 500 feet above the dwelling on the Neilson place, and some passerby seeing the blaze, evidently believed that the house was burning and sent in an alarm to the Martinsburg firemen.
