Early Morning Barn Fire

Fire broke out in the barn of Harker Farm along Dunnings Highway on Wednesday morning, Nov. 6. Fire crews from Freedom Township, Roaring Spring, Claysburg, Blue Knob, Duncansville and Hollidaysburg responded to the scene at approximately 6 a.m. Freedom Township Fire Marshall Melvin Edmundson said a skid steer parked in the barn caught fire. He said the barn sustained moderate damage.
