Bulldogs Advance to D-6 Quarterfinals

Claysburg-Kimmel's Kobe Harr goes up the middle to score his team's second touchdown of the night against Penns Manor Friday, Nov. 1, at Claysburg High School. The Bulldogs advanced to the District 6 Class 1A quarterfinals with a 45-8 victory.

The Claysburg-Kimmel football team ran for 212 yards and five touchdowns during its 45-8 District 6 Class 1A opening-round playoff victory against visiting Penns Manor on Nov. 1.

The fifth-seeded Bulldogs ran their winning streak to three and improved their overall record to 8-3. The Comets, seeded 12th, closed their season with a 3-8 record.

Five different C-K players scored touchdowns in the second quarter to take a 32-8 lead into the lockerrooms at halftime. The Bulldogs tacked on a touchdown in each of the last two quarters.
