Cove Chorus to Perform Christmas Concert

“The Best Christmas Ever,” under the direction of Tom Kunkle, will be the theme of the annual Cove Community Choir’s Christmas concert.

It will be presented at 7 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 23, and at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 24, at the Spring Cove Middle School auditorium, Roaring Spring.

The Christmas classic “Joy to the World” will be sung in celebration of the 300th year of conception. Local talent of soloists, pianists and dancers will perform crowd favorites such as “The Little Drummer Boy,” the medley “A Song in the Air with Away in the Manger” and “Frosty the Snowman” just to name a few. The audience will be invited to join the sing-a-long to add to the fun.

Tickets can be purchased from any choir member or from the following locations: The Music Emporium in Altoona, Burget’s Hardware Store in Curryville, Thompson’s Pharmacy in Hollidaysburg, Mamie’s Cafe in Martinsburg, Nic’s Grab N Go in Williamsburg and the Roaring Spring True Value Department Store.
