Roaring Spring Borough to Hold Public Hearing on Alcohol Ordinance

Roaring Spring Borough Council will be holding a public hearing on Wednesday Nov. 20, to give citizens a chance to have their voices heard regarding the proposed alcohol ordinance.

The hearing will take place at the borough building at 5:15 p.m, and is open to public comment.

In the May 2019 primary election, voters, by a nearly 2 to 1 margin, chose to change Roaring Spring’s nearly 100-year-old ordinance banning the sale of alcohol within borough limits.

Council also announced that the annual tree lighting ceremony will take place on Saturday, Nov. 23.
