The Village Closet Celebrating 30 Years

The Village Closet, a local family owned resale shop and country store, opened its doors on Nov. 15, 1989, in McKee, next to Cove Business Systems.

One year later, the business moved to Towne’s Edge Exchange, Martinsburg, its current location.

“We opened as a consignment shop but have grown into a large country gift shop and a new clothing boutique as well, with two additional consignment locations, one in Duncansville and one in Altoona,” co-owner Janice Colbert said.”
