Thanksgiving day is approaching and as has been the custom in past years, the Nason hospital, located in Roaring Spring, is making an appeal for donations in behalf of the institution. In another column of this issue is given a statement showing the receipts and expenditures covering a period of years. In these strenuous days the receipts from all sources do not come up to the expenditures in the same proportion as heretofore, therefore a special appeal is made at this time to the people to give liberally toward the maintenance of this institution.
