Mrs. Teeter Comes Home

Herald of Nov. 20, 1969

Mrs. Edith Teeter of Martinsburg, victim of renal failure, a serious kidney disease, is a lot happier this week than she has been in recent months. Mrs. Teeter has been traveling to Pittsburg, three days a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday, to use the kidney machine of the Presbyterian University Hospital for ten-hour periods. Soon, however, the trips to Pittsburgh will not be necessary. Mrs. teeter will have more time to spend at home with funds donated by individuals and organizations, a Milton-Roy Kidney Machine has been purchased for Mrs. Teeter allowing her to be treated at home. The machine was bought for $2,440.

The last phase of work on the new Spring Cove Junior High School started this week as the school board took its first formal step toward another building project – the enlargement of the Benson Elementary School in Martinsburg.

John H. Eichelberger of East Freedom has been appointed to fill a vacancy on the Spring Cove School Board replacing Melvin D. McDowell.
