Cove Ministeriums Plan Thanksgiving Services and Meals

Area ministeriums have scheduled community Thanksgiving services for Sunday evening, Nov. 24.

Several area churches will serve free meals Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 28.

All services and meals are open to the public.

Claysburg-East Freedom

The Claysburg community will hold its annual Thanksgiving service at 6:30 p.m. Sunday at Grace United Church of Christ, Bedford Street, Claysburg. The event is sponsored by the Claysburg-East Freedom Ministerium.

Pastor Ron Bashore will be the guest speaker; The Claysburg Community Chorus, under the direction of Tom Ringler, will perform.
