Equipment Repair Shop Opens in M-burg

Jeff Martin a new business owner in Martinsburg, opened Central Power Equipment earlier this year.

The business is located at 3946 Cove Mountain Road, behind Longs' Outpost in Martinsburg.

Martin repairs equipment and offers equipment for both rental and purchase.

Martin said has always wanted to start this type of business since he was 18.

"I had worked for a company doing maintenance on many kinds of equipment," Martin said. "I realized some businesses would not work on equipment if you had not purchased it from them."

Martin saw this as an opportunity to start a business of his own.
