Fake Name Lands Roaring Spring Man Behind Bars

A Roaring Spring man already facing felony burglary and contraband charges is in jail after the car he was riding in was pulled over by police for an equipment violation along Dunnings Highway near Harker's Farm Lane in Newry on Saturday, Nov. 9.

According to charges filed by Blair Township police, an officer observed a silver 2005 Chevrolet Malibu traveling south on Dunnings Highway near Leighty's Hunting Outlet. The officer noted the vehicle had a faulty exhaust system and initiated a traffic stop.
