Speed Limit to Remain 55 on Salemville Rd.

Supervisors in South Woodbury Township met Monday, Nov. 4.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation conducted a traffic study along Township Route 1026, Salemville Road, and decided to keep the speed limit at 55 mph.

Supervisors reviewed the Vehicle Repair and Maintenance rules. Any repairs for township equipment can be done unless the cost is more than $1,000 or in emergency situations.

Jay Claycomb reported some signs are disappearing in the township.

Supervisors approved a donation of $500 to support the Vietnam Veterans in contributing to the Traveling Wall that Heals.

Supervisors will meet at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3.
