In reference to the article on Page A-6 of the Nov. 21, 2019, edition of the Herald about the Commonwealth of Pa. considering allowing municipal police officers to use radar for vehicle speed-limit enforcement, sadly, the speed kills myth is alive and well in Pennsylvania.

A real 25-state analysis was done of National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) data, which showed that 1.6 percent of crashes are caused by excessive speed. Barely above zero, then.
