LEGAL NOTICE OF PROPOSED ORDINANCE

NOTICE is given that the Council of the Borough of Williamsburg will consider an Ordinance establishing the real estate millage tax rate for 2020 at its regular meeting to be held in the Municipal Building, 305 E. 2nd Street, Williamsburg, Pennsylvania on December 9, 2019, at 7:00 p.m. The following is a summary of the proposed ordinance:

SECTION 1. That a tax be and the same is hereby levied for general Borough purposes and for debt services purposes on all real property within the Borough of Williamsburg subject to taxation for the fiscal year 2020 as follows:

Tax rate for General Purposes, the sum of 2.424 mills

and a Tax rate for Debt Service purposes,

the sum of 0.354 mills

for a total of 2.778 mills

on each dollar of assessed valuation, or the sum $0.278

on each one hundred dollars ($100.00) of

assessed valuation.

For a total estimated tax levy for general

purposes of $130,296.00

And a total estimated tax levy for debt

services of $19,028.00

The entire Ordinance may be examined at the Municipal Building, Williamsburg, Pennsylvania, Monday through Friday during normal business hours.

Budget Notice

The Bloomfield Township Board of Supervisors has given tentative approval of the 2020 budget, which will be available for public inspection by appointment only. Please call the secretary at 814-224-5367 after 5 p.m. if you wish to review the proposed budget.

The board of Supervisors will consider the proposed budget for adoption on Monday, December 23, 2019, at 6:30 p.m. at the township building in Bakers Summit, PA
