Skyles School Flag Raising

On Friday, November 28, 1919 occurred an event long to be remembered by the boys and girls of the Skyles school, in Taylor township. The occasion was the time set for the unfurling of a flag presented to the school by Camp 561, P. O. S. of A., of Martinsburg. A program appropriate to the occasion had been prepared. The teacher, Mr. John Wareham, showed remarkable thoroughness in training his boys and girls to perform the parts assigned as well.
