Blair District Attorney Rich Consiglio Announces Impending Retirement

Blair County District Attorney Richard Consiglio held a press conference on Wednesday, Nov. 27, to announce his intention to retire from the office he has held for the past 15 years.

Consiglio's announcement brings an end to a law career that has spanned almost half a century.

"It has been an honor and a privilege to serve as the district attorney of this great county," Consiglio said.

Consiglio has served as a prosecutor for 30 years, trying more than 500 criminal cases including three death penalty cases.
