Bedford Tops Lady Panthers, 65-24

Northern Bedford traveled to Bedford to open its season last Friday night, Dec. 6, and the Lady Bisons were not accommodating hosts.

The Lady Panthers struggled to score versus a strong Bedford defense and were walloped by a 65-24 score.

Bedford scored 26 points in the first period and held a 42-13 lead at the half. The Lady Bisons hit eight three point shots in the game.

Allie Snider scored 12 points, including two treys, to pace the Lady Panthers.

“Bedford is a tough opener,” NB coach Jon Ewart said. “They have a strong squad and we won't see many teams that good this year.”
