Inexperienced C-K Improving

The Claysburg-Kimmel boys' basketball team got off to a slow start at the Northern Cambria Tip-Off Tournament but rebounded in fine fashion.

The Bulldogs managed just two first-quarter points in an opening round 61-45 loss to Saegertown on Dec. 6 but bounced back with a 54-28 victory in the consolation game a night later.

C-K found itself down 33-11 at the half against Saegertown but outscored its opponent 34-28 in the second half.
